Innovation and IP

Outsourcing, increased sales and marketing expenditures produced gains for companies over the past few years. But in today's marketplace low cost, high quality, high performing and attention getting offerings are the price of entry.

Large companies often have large reserves of technologies or intellectual property, yet little opportunity to look further to seek out uncharted avenues. They must now seek growth in new ways. They must look in different places and see new things. They must be courageous in their actions. They must innovate.

True design innovation uncovers new directions and builds on established success. Yet, the opportunities for larger, more established companies to identify these possibilities often quietly slip away due to demanding workloads, deadlines and relentless top and bottom line responsibilities. Unless identified and capitalized upon, these opportunities dry up.

In order for design innovation to be implemented, the process must fit within a company’s culture and its decision making process.  Years of success at this has helped us identify the spaces where innovation can be applied, and the ways to implement it.
