Education:
B.F.A., Massachusetts College of Art, Concentration in Sculpture
Personal Trajectory:
Whether making pottery in Japan or exhibiting conceptual art at the Institute of Contemporary Art, I've long been interested in drawing emotion out of the seemingly unemotional. I find it's the subtle ways that people reveal their humanity that are the most powerful.
Virtues:
I am honest, optimistic, curious, compulsively organized, and believe nothing is impossible.
Vices:
I've always argued that your best traits are also your worst, so please see the list above.
Favorite Project:
While having a favorite project is like choosing a favorite child (unthinkable!) I'll admit that the most current project is always the most exciting.
Special Interest:
Places where graffiti has been painted out, natural history museums, typography jokes (i.e. "What the Helvetica!"), time travel, and contortionist yoga poses to name a few.
