An essential seafood staple in the southern United States, Captain D’s Seafood Kitchen had over 550 restaurant locations that were looking tired and underperforming. Purchased by an investor group with the intent of a national rollout, the brand needed an update to be relevant in the competitive restaurant climate. Continuum identified a new brand strategy, appealing to a larger national audience, which centered on the concept of a fresh seafood marketplace.
Once the brand was defined, all the components that delivered the brand experience were developed – from logo and tagline to restaurant architecture.
