Emerging Technology at Continuum

Central to delivering right ideas and real results, is the development and maturation of emerging technology.

This takes the form of a spectrum of activities: mathematical models that help technologists explore design variations, excellent implementation of known technologies (although perhaps deployed in unusual ways), working to find out that what's 'known' really isn't, or just plain noodling in the lab! Without solid technology, our product design activities open up to unacceptable risk or delays. Below, we present a few development examples:

Emerging Technology: Design Analysis

Design Analysis

We needed a mathematical simulation to describe the tradeoffs between the end position of a cable harness and the required clearance for the motion of the assembly. > More

Communications Systems

Autoconfiguration functions, like topology reconfiguration, are useful for determining network masters during initialization or for healing a physically broken network. > More
